Gretchen Whitmer
Gretchen Esther Whitmer (born August 23, 1971) is an American lawyer, former prosecutor, legislator, and politician serving as the 49th Governor of Michigan since January 1, 2019. A member of the Democratic Party, Whitmer previously served in the Michigan House of Representatives, the Michigan Senate, and as Senate Democratic Leader.
