Max Martin Fisher (July 15, 1908 – March 3, 2005) was an American businessman, investor, civic leader, political advisor, and philanthropist whose influence extended across business, public policy, philanthropy, and community development. In 1959, Aurora Gasoline was acquired by Marathon Oil Company. Following the sale, Fisher diversified his investments into banking, real estate, manufacturing, telecommunications, and finance.
