Ralph Cookerly Wilson Jr. (October 17, 1918 – March 25, 2014) was an American businessman, sports executive, and philanthropist best known as the founder and longtime owner of the Buffalo Bills professional football franchise. Early Life and Education
Wilson was born in Columbus, Ohio, but grew up in the Detroit area. He attended Detroit University School and later graduated from the University of Virginia. He subsequently attended the University of Michigan Law School before entering the business world. 3) 4)
Prior to World War II, Wilson worked in his family's insurance business. During the war, he served in the United States Navy in both the Atlantic and Pacific theaters. Buffalo Bills and the AFL
